The Super Shredder in-line disintegrator reduces tough wastewater solids to fine bits with a unique, high flow, spherical rotor design. The unit is specifically designed for high capacity and minimal headloss. In fact, because of its high percentage of open area, the Super Shredder remains practically invisible to flow. The Super Shredder is simple to install like an ordinary valve in straight-through pipe systems. It quickly goes to work protecting pumps and enhancing the operation of process equipment. A special hardfacing alloy is fused to all cutting surfaces at 2000 degrees F providing up to 20 times the abrasion resistance of hardened steel. The Super Shredder is provided with an S250 automatic reversing control system. This controller senses jam conditions and automatically reverses unit rotation to clear a blockage!
