Today, Kasco Marine is a leading manufacturer of de-icers, floating decorative and aerating fountains, surface and diffused aerators, circulators, and more. We continue to expand with a commitment to producing the highest quality products coupled with outstanding customer support.

Company History

In 1968, an inventive marina operator in Minnesota introduced the world’s first de-icer. This revolutionary product protected marina equipment from harsh Minnesota winters and allowed for in-water boat storage. Kasco was formed and, by the 1980’s dominated the de-icing market, a leadership position that continues to this day. In the mid-1980’s, the Kasco engineers modified the de-icer design to create an effective pond and lake aerator. Fisheries and aquaculture industries quickly saw the benefits of these aerators, and a loyal customer base grew. The next evolution was to add a pumping chamber to the aerator, creating beautiful and effective aerating fountains. This line of aerating fountains has since expanded to include a wide range of decorative fountains.
