EE-water - Suspended Solids Sensor for Water and Wastewater Monitoring
The suspended solids sensor developed by Shenzhen Essential Environment Co., Ltd. is designed to accurately measure the concentration of sludge in varied environments, particularly within wastewater treatment plants. Utilizing the light scattering detection principle, this sensor is equipped with a self-cleaning system ensuring minimal maintenance and stable operation over long periods. It enables continuous measurement with a fast response time, making it suitable for ongoing monitoring and control. The sensor supports multiple measurement ranges to accommodate different accuracy requirements and features flexible installation options, including immersion and pipeline setups. Constructed with corrosion-resistant stainless steel, it can endure harsh conditions. The sensor operates with a measurement range from 0.01 to 5000 mg/L and maintains a high resolution of 0.01 mg/L. It uses the RS485 Modbus Protocol for communication and supports single and two-point calibration methods. Suitable temperature operations range from -15°C to 65°C, and it functions effectively under pressures up to 1 Mpa.
The suspended solid sensor utilizes the light scattering detection principle and can be used to measure sludge concentration in wastewater treatment plants, evaluate the quality of activated sludge or the overall biological treatment process. It is also applicable for routine water quality monitoring of surface water and wastewater.
