Swestep Plant
The SWESTEP plant is scalable and flexible with regard to both the input material (feedstock) and end product perspectives. Scalability with options with regard to size and number of production lines possible within each plant opens up the market for both small and large operators.
The product portfolio consists of the following production facilities;
- SWTP-500 (4 ML / Year)
- SWTP-1000 (8 ML / Year)
- SWTP-5000 (40 ML / Year)
In order to maximize the output of each SWESTEP Plant it is possible to combine different size SWPT units (production lines) to meet the desired production volume.
At the moment Swestep are doing research for a "Swestep Mobile Unit", and development are also conducted for the feasibility of a large scale plant with production capacity of 12,500 l/hr, which can then be easily scaled up to 25,000 l/hr. Larger plants are tailored and built based on the customers’ needs and requirements.

The process meets all the demands of sustainability both from a circular and profitability perspective,as well as from a climate and economic standpoint.
The CC (Catalytic Conversion) process is a liquefaction technology that transforms biomass, organic waste, including plastics into renewable fuels and sustainable liquids/oils.
THE PROCESS FLOW
COLLECT RAW MATERIALS: Biomas, Waste & Residues in all forms
PREPARE FEEDSTOCK: Dried & Grinded
REMOVE OXYGEN FROM FEEDSTOCK: Mixed with Thermal Oil & Catalyst is added
CLEAN SLUDGE: Heated up to Free the Hydrocarbon Chains
DISSOLVE ALL HYDROCARBONS: Catalyst & Controlled Heat
VAPORIZATION PROCESS: Temperature-controlled vaporization
END PRODUCTS FUELS & LIQUIDS: Synthetic/Renewable Diesel and Oils
The End Products Provide Sustainability to The Transport Sector and Valuable Raw Materials to Fossil Dependent Industries
Today the core product of a SWESTEP Plant is renewable Diesel; a chemical composition that fulfils the European norm DIN E590 for automotive fuels.
Results from our research and development indicate that the technology in the near future will be capable of supplying fuel to the whole transport sector (Air, land and sea). Renewable fuel alternatives and sustainable raw oils will be processed into green performance chemicals and additives usable in most fossil dependent industries.
The product portfolio consists of four (4) main end products
- Renewable Fuels
- Sustainable Liquids/oils
- Water
- CO2 – Neutral +
