The BY340 synchronous controller is designed for compact installations in small panels or machinery, featuring a DIN housing with dimensions of 96 x 48 x 140 millimeters. It provides cost-efficient solutions due to its affordability, and offers advanced control capabilities with options for speed ratio adjustments via keypad. The controller supports a ± 10 V or 0/4 to 20 mA analog output, equipped with four programmable limit values for transistor switching outputs. Its RS232 serial interface facilitates connectivity. As part of the BY series, it ensures precise control for speed-controlled drives using analog setpoints. The controller offers angle-synchronous operations, ratio synchronization with adjustable transmission factors, and phase positions, alongside trimming and indexing functions for tailored alignment between axes. This makes it suitable for various drive synchronization applications.
The BY340 synchronous controller with its compact 96 x 48 x 140 millimeter (3.78 x 1.89 x 5.51") DIN housing is suitable for small panel installation as well as small machinery installation because of the low price. The BY340 allows the speed ratio via keypad and has a ± 10 V or 0/4 to 20 mA analog output, 4 programmable limit values for transistor switching outputs as well as a serial RS232 interface.
The precision single-axis controllers of the BY series have excellent control characteristics and are suitable for use on speed-controlled drives with analog setpoints. An absolutely angle-synchronous synchronism or ratio synchronization with adjustable transmission factors and phase positions as well as trimming and indexing functions for adjusting the relative position between the axes are just some of the numerous available functions and features of these devices.
