tarpARMOR - Model TDS-30 HS -Automated Tarping System

Engine and Hydraulics System:
The keyed electric start 8 horsepower Honda gasoline engine and hydraulic system is specified to operate the TDS-30 HS spool under maximum specified tarp weight. The TDS-30 HS includes a manual hydraulic control valve and a heavy-duty remote control operator pendant to control the direction of tarp spool rotation.

Tarp:
The tarps are made from 9.4 oz/yd2 white woven polypropylene material per the specifications below. The tarp fabric is semi-permeable. Each tarp measures 30 feet wide and 107 feet in length. The spool will accommodate up to four (4) 9.4 oz/yd² tarps with 3/8” chain installed in pockets on the sides and six tarpLOX cables per tapr. Each tarp loaded with 3/8” chain around the perimeter weighs approximately 906 pounds.

Quick Attaching To Existing Landfill Equipment:

The TDS-30 HS is equipped with adjustable brackets to accommodate trash blades on most equipment. The blade of existing equipment simply hooks under the bracket and the machine is ready for use.

Existing Landfill Equipment:

The TDS-30 HS can be lifted, moved and operated from D5 to D8 class bulldozers or CAT 826 or 836 class compactors. CAT 816 compactors can be used with up to three tarps.

Wireless Remote Control Unit:
The wireless remote control unit has a maximum operating distance of 100 feet from the tarp machine. The TDS-30 HS is easily operated from inside the cab with the remote control.

Warranty:
The warranty period for the TDS-30 HS is 12 months from date of shipment. Tarps are not warranted.
