Before the formation of Compactors, Inc., the principals were heavily involved in the oil industry, primarily in the supply of off-shore production equipment, tubulars, supplies and compactors for operations in the Gulf of Mexico and throughout the world.

Initially, Compactors Inc. concentrated its efforts on the marketing of waste compaction equipment and systems. However, as new environmental solid waste regulations were implemented and the recycling of paper, glass, aluminum, metal and plastic became feasible, and sometimes mandatory, our commercial volume reduction product line was expanded to include equipment and systems such as vertical trash compactors, chute fed trash compactors, trash compactor bags, densifiers, shredders, aluminum can crushers, aerosol can crushers, drum crusher and packer, paint can crushers, glass crushers, balers and waste reduction accessories.
