CHALLENGE

An automated system was requested for feeding and discharging aircraft components into and from 2 ovens.
SOLUTION

A shuttle with telescopic forks moves 2.2 tonne bins and allows for two-sided feeding into the oven and off-centred by 3 m only. The system is resistant to the high temperatures inside the ovens (500 °C).
