Function:

In the single roller mill crushing takes place in the wedge-shaped crushing space between the fixed crusher wall and corrugated roller. The material is crushed by pressure and shearing action.

Application:

Roller mills are suitable for crushing brittle materials of all hardnesses, such as rock, ores, coal, coke, etc.

Function:

The material to be crushed is pulled by friction into the gap between two rollers rotating in opposite directions. Material is then crushed by pressure and shearing action, this results in a uniform size of the discharge with few fines.
