The ERS Eco is an environmentally friendly sensor designed for indoor temperature and humidity monitoring using LoRaWAN® technology. Its unique design incorporates an organic solar cell as the sole power source and features an enclosure made from biodegradable materials, eliminating the need for batteries. This design choice not only significantly reduces environmental impact but also lowers maintenance costs. The ERS Eco is capable of operating for up to 30 days in complete darkness, depending on factors such as sample interval, transmit interval, data rate, and environmental conditions. It includes advanced features like a self-adapting transmission rate, which minimizes current consumption and network load by adjusting the data transmission frequency when environmental conditions remain unchanged. This sensor is ideal for smart building applications, dynamic workspace management, and indoor climate control. Additionally, ERS sensors come equipped with Near Field Communication (NFC) for easy configuration using an Android phone, allowing users to adjust parameters like sample rate, data rate, and encryption keys.
