Ecofast - Model PP - S60.300 – S80.600 -Temporary Storage Tank
The units S60.300 and S80.600 are cylindrical tanks whose dimensions are respectively 0 700 x H 1900 mm. (about 300 1. of capacity) and 0 1000 x H 1900 mm. (about 600 1. of capacity), having two specific functions:
- temporary stocking the wastewater (water + ground food waste) coming from the free-standing waste disposal units (commercial food waste disposers)
- keeping an uniform density of the wastewater be means of a mixer with geared motor installed on the top of it
The Storage Tank unit is designed to work remotely in a modular system (multiple free standing waste disposal units connected via a dedicated drainage line to a temporary storage tank and then to one or more de-watering units). The wastewater (a mix of ground food waste and water) coming from food waste disposers reaches a temporary storage tank through a dedicated drainage line. Here a mixer provides stirring the wastewater to prevent the setting-up of sediments.
The pressure level sensors record the pressure differences inside the tank and send appropriate signals to the PLC control panel of the dehydrating area determining the emptying of the tank, by means of a pump, and the starts of the dewatering unit which will perform the hydro-extracting process.
