Features of UHMWPE Plates

High-wear resistance, 7 times as steel, 4 times as PTFE. High-impact resistance, 10 times as PA66, 8 times as PTFE. Splendid self-lubrication, same as PTFE, better than steel/brass appended lubricating oil. Splendid anti-corrosion resistance, resistant to corrosive medium or organic solvent. High inadhesion resistance, surface can hardly affixe any material.

Highly resistant to water, moisture, abrasion, most chemicals, UV radiation.

Application of UHMWPE Plates

• Generally speaking, the UHMWPE sheet is widely used when the temperature is from −40 °C to 90 °C, under which conditions it has longer service life.
• Used for lining chutes and hoppers in aggressive and highly abrasive environment, for example, the quarry, thanks to its outstanding abrasion resistance.
• Used in food production where high volumes of containers like cans or bottles need guiding along conveyors or production lines.
• Used in cryogenic components due to UHMWPE plate’s low operating temperature abilities.
