The SAREX ® MX-1500 is a modular three phase CENTRIFUGE SYSTEM for processing oily sludges from: The MX-2000 is a low temperature THERMAL DRYER for processing wet solids generated from dewatered sludge, sediments, or soils. The MX-2000 is a mobile steam or hot-oil indirectly heated thermal screw processor. Typical solids processing temperatures range from 82.22 C (180 F) for a steam unit to a maximum of 315.56 C (600 F) for a hot-oil heated system. The solids are dewatered and the majority of residual oil and VOC’s are desorbed from the solids matrix. The desorbed organic and water vapors are processed through the state-of-the-art vapor recovery system (VRS). The dried solids exit the MX-2000 for either final disposal or for further thermal processing using the MX-2500 or for direct cement kiln recycling.
