Plastichem - Model GRP -Thermoplastic Lined Pipe Systems

This system combines the chemical resistance of the thermoplastic or fluoropolymer lining with the strength of the GRP reinforcement. The resulting systems are a cost effective alternative to rubber lined steel or exotic alloys.

Lining materials are available in PVC, CPVC, Polypropylene, PVDF, ECTFE and PFA.

The systems can be designed to operate up to 150 Degrees Centigrade and 10 Bar g.

Typical popular applications include Chlorine Gas, Hydrochloric acid, Sodium Hydroxide and Sodium Hypochlorite.

Compared with un-reinforced thermoplastic pipe, this system has the benefit of increased design pressure at high temperature and increased support span.
