SandGel B (SandGel B) – is a general-purpose thixotropic thickening suspending agent for waterborne coatings with a wide range of applications and balanced overall performance. It plays a multifaceted role in improving and regulating the anti-settling, stabilising and rheological properties of coatings, especially in improving workability, suspension stability and anti-sagging.

It can be used as suspending agent, thixotropic agent, binder, thickener, emulsion stabiliser and so on. In the coating system, it can improve workability and anti-sagging, improve suspension stability, adjust rheology, etc. It can meet the requirements of rheology at different stages of coating production and construction process.

The product is added to a certain amount of water and fully dispersed by high-speed shearing, and the degree of hydration is proportional to the energy provided. After sufficient hydration time, a pre-gel is made, and then the other components in the formula are added sequentially and stirred well.
The typical dosage of this product is about 0.2-2.0% of the total formula weight, the specific dosage can be adjusted according to the type of coating and the required consistency.
