BGT Hydromet - Model WS-601SS2 -Tipping Bucket Rain Gauge

Tipping Bucket Rain Gauge is a durable  instrument for monitoring rain rate and total rainfall. It has been updated and improved with the addition of an inner funnel to even the flow of the rainfall into the gauge, providing better accuracy at higher rainfall rates. With minimal care it will provide many years of service. The rain gauge is made of high impact UV-antied plastic/ stainless steel. The tipping bucket sensor mechanism activates a sealed reed switch that produces a contact closure for each 0.1mm, 0.2 mm or 0.5mm of rainfall. The rain gauge sensor can be pole mounted or bolted to a level plate.
