Toilet Downpipes

SHARE

With Aarsleff CIPP Lining, which consists of several layers of acid-proof polyester felt impregnated with resin, we are able to renew vertical toilet downpipes, including built-in downpipes, with laterals and water traps quickly and efficiently. Aarsleff CIPP Lining reduces the need for demolition and thereby the time that it takes to carry out a renewal project. In short, this means improved finances and less inconvenience to the residents and users of a building.Irrespective of the extent of a renewal project, we always start the work with a careful planning phase and we always work according to a well-organised plan that ensures a high level of information to the residents and users of a building.

We start the actual renewal work with cleaning the downpipes by means of special equipment, so that they get back their initial cross sectional area. The cleaning takes place with CCTV monitoring, and in this way we record and document the condition of the toilet downpipes providing us with a general view of the actual extent of the project, and also with regard to finances.

When we have carried out cleaning and CCTV inspection of the toilet downpipes in question, we then carry out the actual renewal work. This takes place by means of Aarsleff CIPP Lining which we install from the top or the bottom of a toilet downpipe by means of air pressure in even confined spaces.

When the liner is in position in the toilet downpipe, we cure it with steam. After a few hours, the liner is cured, and we can carry out a final CCTV inspection and connect the downpipe to other installations.
