TOPS - Tool Boxes
TOPS is well-equipped with all of the tools necessary for your high speed rotating equipment. We will arrive on site with customized tool boxes designed with the work site in mind. The boxes are equipment specific and ready for work, saving time by minimizing the walk back and forth to a trailer.
A typical TOPS tool set includes:
Rigging Box
Steel, Polyester, and Nylon Slings capable of all major overhaul lifts
Impact Socket Box
6 point and 12 point sockets, Full Metric and SAE Sets. 3/4", 1", 1 1/2" drive Impact Wrenches
Hammer Wrench Box
Hammer wrenches SAE and Metric. Offset and straight.
Chain Fall
1/2 ton to 15 ton chain falls and a full range of come-a-longs
Consumable
All consumables necessary for a full turnaround along with turbine specific items including: precision tools, tie wire, lubricants, etc.
Bolt Bin
Storage to organize bolting from disassembly to reassembly
Hose Box
Air hose, Oxy/Act hose, Hydraulic Rams, torches, rosebuds, bolt heating assemblies.
Specialty Tools
Concentricity Alignment Tool (CAT), Wire Alignment Kit, Castellated Sockets/Wrenches, Bolt Heating.
