TORAY MBR - Flat-sheet PVDF MBR
Flat-sheet PVDF MBR handles high suspended solids loading and produces high-quality effluent MBR (Membrane Bioreactor) process is a combination of biological wastewater treatment and filtration. Biodegradable pollutants are reduced using bacteria and microorganisms. Following biological treatment, activated sludge is separated from the treated water by Toray`s PVDF flatsheet membrane with a nominal pore size of 0.08 microns densely distributed along the membrane surface. The TMR140 series is Toray`s first-generation MBR module. It is certified by the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) as an acceptable filtration technology for compliance with the State of California Water Recycling Criteria (Title 22) since October 2008. Title 22 approved membrane technology is also applied to NHP series.
