Empas - Trailed Salt Brine Spray Unit
The trailed salt brine spray unit can be used behind an existing vehicle, such as a tractor. This unit offers landscape contractors and municipalities a great deal of flexibility, because the machine can be quickly connected or disconnected. The unit is ideal for larger areas, such as bicycle paths and company grounds.
The salt brine spray unit is constructed with durable components, which means that maintenance is minimal. The maintenance is carried out by the Empas national dealer network. This unit can also be equipped with a spray computer. That way you can set the desired delivery rate yourself.
The pump set of the trailed salt brine spray unit has a capacity of 75 litres per minute at 15 bar. In reality, the delivery rate is a bit lower. There is always more liquid in circulation than is sprayed. This is important so the agitator can keep the salt brine in suspension within the liquid. The trailed salt brine spray unit with a 2000-litre liquid tank can be sprayed continuously for over 2.5 hours when using a spray boom with a working width of 1.5 meters and the standard settings. The pump and spray nozzles are configured for a maximum speed of 15 km per hour.
