NOFI - Model 2 -Trawls and Trawl Equipment
NOFI designs and manufactures cod trawls for both the Norwegian trawler fleet and international fleets fishing in the Barents Sea. We work closely with accredited and reliable suppliers and can guarantee that our products hold a very high quality standard, designed for the relevant application.
Raw materials
Our cod trawls are manufactured chiefly in polyethylene net or in premium net. Our suppliers of polyethylene net materials, Euronete (Portugal), is one of the world’s largest and stable suppliers. Euronete conducts ongoing product development and in our opinion has the best polyethylene net products available.
Cod ends and nets
NOFI also supplies cod trawl nets in nylon or hotmelt (polyethylene-based material). We keep all types of nets in stock, so that delivery times are reduced to a minimum. Cod ends are made to order, frequently according to design drawings in cooperation with our customers.
Sorting systems
We supply customised sorting systems. Sort E system and Flexi Rist System are supplied with 50 and 55 mm rib spacing.
Rockhopper gear and Roller gear
We stock all components for cod and shrimp trawl gear. Gear can be installed to order.
