GWE - Model RC-3S -Trenchless
Trenchless laying methods such as horizontal jet drilling or burst lining, increasingly offer an alternative to conventional laying methods under commercial and technical aspects. The costs of civil engineering and the surface restoration are largely avoided, and the construction time is significantly reduced. In these black-box methods, it is not always clearly predictable what exactly will be in the soil in the pipe zone. As a result, you must (per DVGW) ensure that the pressure-bearing pipe wall is not damaged when fitting the pipe. In order to guarantee this, an auxiliary external pipe protection is essential. Our GWE RC-3S pipe offers just this security.
The core pipe of the RC-3S pipe is made of 100% PE 100 RC materials, and also has a polypropylene protective casing with a very high modulus of elasticity.
This protective casing ensures that the pressure-bearing wall is not damaged during trenchless laying, and the targeted service life is met.
The protective casing is color-coded in accordance with the application: drinking water = blue casing, green stripe
GWE RC-3S pipes have a high casing grip and are designed specifically for use in trenchless laying methods. They can be connected homogeneously using butt welding methods or with electro-welding joints, and have a service life of > 100 years.
GWE RC-3S pipes bear the DIN Certco and DVGW quality marks and are externally monitored by accredited test laboratories
