The company was first established in February 1973 and is today a globally recognised brand employing nearly 400 people worldwide. Tricel has manufacturing sites located all around Europe and within the United Kingdom, including Gloucester, Newry and Leeds. We develop, manufacture, sell and distribute an extensive range of innovative and solution based products. As a global based award winning engineering company, we provide our specialist services to customers and industries in over 50 countries worldwide.

With manufacturing locations in five countries, we possess a broad and distinct range of capabilities which enable us to supply an extensive range of markets. Tricel has evolved from its beginnings as a manufacturer of GRP products into a successful multinational corporation. Tricel (Gloucester)

Tricel (Gloucester), previously under the name of Gloucester Composites, was established in 1994. The function of this business is to manufacture a number of products for the U.K market. This element of the Tricel group is a highly-experienced manufacturer of composite products and has developed a unique range that is used worldwide.

These products are certified by government bodies and utility companies alike. Tricel (Gloucester) excels in the innovation of composites design, supplying leading manufacturers in the construction, automotive, rail, defence, aeronautical, civil and road safety sectors. Furthermore, Tricel (Gloucester) is also a leading provider of mains drainage solutions, supplying septic tanks, sewage treatment plants and pump stations throughout the UK.

Tricel (Newry)

Tricel (Newry), previously Fibreglass Sales, was established in 1997 to distribute raw materials in Northern Ireland. This location is a specialist distributor of fibreglass materials and application tools. In 2016 over 5 million kg’s of fibreglass materials were distributed to customers in the UK, Ireland and Mainland Europe from this location, making Tricel (Newry) one of the largest distributors of fibreglass products in the UK and Ireland.

We have successfully supplied commercial and domestic customers from this location for over 20 years and maintain a close relationship with all our clients. Our customers have come to trust us as an extremely reliable and friendly company. We continue to use the experience gained during our time in business to help our customers in choosing the right products for their projects. Tricel UK has multiple operations which ensure speedy delivery times and localised customer support for both our UK and Irish customers.
