Trio - Model DSP Series -Dry Sand Plant
Trio DSP Series Dry Sand Plant is a complete standalone modular sand manufacturing system. This environmentally friendly design incorporates automated controls for a wide range of specification sands.
The DSP Series sand manufacturing plants are equipped with a large receiving hopper and variable speed belt feeder to eliminate surges within the system. A bucket elevator transports feed material to a Trio® VSI crusher specially equipped for sand manufacturing. The product discharged from the VSI is split into coarse and fine product streams; the fines report to a two stage air separator and the coarse material to a Trio® horizontal screen. The automated control system blends a portion of both streams into three fractions; fines that are pneumatically conveyed to a baghouse; the coarse fraction which is recirculated to the VSI crusher and the intermediate sand size that is conveyed to a mixer to insure a uniform sand product and with the proper moisture.
