Mainardi - Model 1610 -Triple Trailed Comb Rake
The triple trailed rake mod.1610 allows a high yield in the production of quality forage thanks to the comb system that delicately treats the product keeping it clean and whole; thanks to the considerable working width of 7 m and thanks to the various possibilities of use, illustrated below.
A unique feature is the rear section, where a pair of large 6-comb reels are able to convey large quantities of forage to the side, forming a regular and soft swath.
The hydraulic system is simple and efficient: autonomous with a pump driven by the PDF to operate the motors, while it requires 2 pairs of hydraulic sockets to operate the lifting cylinders; special valves control the operating pressure and the partialization of the sections.
The machine is compact and easy to handle; maneuvers at the headland and during work in general are agile and fast because to lift the combs, it is not necessary to stop their rotation.
The closed model 1610 is suitable for road transit if equipped with signal lights and the plate certifying approval.
The machine works easily with any type of forage: in the photo it is used with Italian ryegrass, a usually difficult grass, even more so in the spring of 2013, given the large amount of rainfall.
The 3-section rake mod. 1610 is a machine that combines high working capacity with great versatility and, through simple manual diverters, provides for different ways of use in relation to the needs that arise from time to time:
Full use of the machine
- Working width 7 m
- Central conveyor
- Lateral movement with formation of a soft swath approximately 1.40 m wide
Use of front crews only
- Working width 7 m
- Central conveyor
- Formation of a pair of mirror-image swaths with a maximum width of approximately 2 m
Use of the left front crew and the rear crew
- Working width of approximately 5.50 m
- Lateral movement with formation of a single swath
- Ideal for joining with 2 passages 11 m of field
Use of rear crew only (option on request)
- It gathers and moves laterally the swath formed as in point 2 and no longer moved, thus completing aeration and drying.
