Partech - Triple Validation Unit - Drinking Water Treatment Control
Triple Validation is a widely accepted method of ensuring reliable control of critical processes and is often used in drinking water treatment control. Applications also exist in a range of other processes. For example the unit can be used to monitor water levels upstream, downstream and within screens when they are applied in water courses prone to flooding.
Our Triple Validation Unit will take 4-20 mA inputs from any suitable instrumentation and is ideal as a low cost upgrade for old GLI and Capital Control units. The unit is easy to setup and provides a wide range of validation algorithms, providing the additional security of multiple measurement points with minimal setup overhead.
The unit will alarm if one of the levels is out of step with the others, warning of a screen blockage and allowing an operator to visit site before a flooding event occurs. The Triple Validation Unit monitors three process signals, all covering the same parameter and performs a check on the signals under one of a number of optional algorithms. The inputs can come from our own sensors or from existing third party products.

Alarm outputs are provided giving warnings where one or more input signal is considered to be out of its acceptable working range. If your process needs an alternative validation algorithm we are more than happy to add more control options.
