Kontur - Model AIR -True Air-Launched GPR Sensor
AIR is an innovative true air-launched GPR sensor with patented technology that is designed for high-speed 3-dimensional subsurface assessment. It is used worldwide in applications like high-speed pavement assessment, airport and railroad inspection, landmine/improvised explosive device detection (IED), and other projects requiring a safe distance between the sensor and the ground.
Quick, precise, safer, and highly cost-effective data collection The AIR sensor array is elevated from the road surface which enables high-speed surveys without interrupting traffic flow. Used worldwide for road, rail, and aviation projects. In addition, AIR is compatible with drones and autonomous systems.
7.5 cm channel spacing in the antenna array combined with a 30 MHz to 4,500 MHz bandwidth ensures high-density sampling to enable detailed visualization of the subsurface. The data is presented in three dimensions, geospatially referenced and intuitively handled in our software to make evaluation as natural as possible.
The AIR sensor is equipped with Integrated RTK GPS & IMU for easier deployment and accurate positioning. Compatible with mobile mapping solutions and external positioning systems. This flexible sensor can be used alone or integrated into a survey vehicle.
