The Duplex 2205 Tube Fittings are made with a primary constituent of chromium, molybdenum, nickel, and nitrogen. These fittings are designed to work in temperatures between -50 to 300 degrees C. The UNS S32205 and UNS S31803 Tube Fittings are two of the common alloys in this grade that possess similar characteristics and compositions. The major difference between these components is that the UNS S32205 Tube Fittings have a higher content of nitrogen embedded in them. This propels these fittings to have a better protective layer against corrosive media in comparison to the latter.
