How do we control size of fep tubing ?
For many industries, fep tubing needs strict size tolerance,such as inside diameter, outside diameter, wall thickness.Suniu use two types of instruments to measure tubing dimensions: Pin gauges and Diameter laser machine.
Pin Gauges
Pin gauges is pin shape according to fixed size precisely. It is used to measure and inspect the inside diameter of fep tubing.
When test ID of tubing, pin gauge with the lower limit diameter fit effortlessly through the ID of fep tubing. While upper limit pin
gauge fit loosely.
Diameter Laser measurement machine
Diameter laser machine, used by Dongguan Suniu Electronics Co.,Ltd, will continuously measure and record the diameter and eccentricity of FEP tubing, with high accuracy to keep OD remain within specification. The laser machine will alarm if size exceed default value.

Fep (abbreviation of Fluorinated ethylene propylene) is another fluoropolymer product. It is different from PTFE with lower melting point at 200C. But Fep resins is with much more transparant colour. As its resistant to sunlight, it is good for all weather applications.
