Triton - Model TR8 Series -Turbidity Sensor

The Triton® TR8 is a nephelometric sensor designed for analysis of turbidity and suspended solids in water and wastewater. The Triton TR8 uses an optical method for determining the turbidity, a light beam is directed into the sample where it is scattered by suspended particles in the water. The Triton TR8 uses a long lived near infrared LED light source (880 nm) and the 90° scattered light method in accordance with ISO 7027 / EN 27027. The Triton TR8 sensor has self monitoring diagnostics along with a Factory Calibration stored in its memory that assures trouble free service. The TR8 Analyzer digitally communicates with the sensor and provides a 4-20 mA output and alarm relay.
