Since 1918 Dorstener Drahtwerke has been producing top quality drawn wire, woven wire cloth and welded wire mesh. We use our long tradition and experience in wire production to develop high-quality niche products for our target markets. We produce for the automotive, chemical, graphic and aerospace industries. But also the agricultural industry, the construction industry and mechanical engineering are among our customers.

High-quality filter cloth for different filtering tasks

We offer various filter cloths to meet different requirements. Filtration enables the separation of individual media and takes place as surface, depth, or cake filtration, depending on the task. Our production range includes, among others, the classic filter medium metal mesh, which impresses with stable and uniform mesh openings and pores. The sintered mesh laminate SinterPore™, in turn, offers optimized application possibilities for individual filter mesh layers by combining the advantages of metal filter mesh with new characteristics. We supply SinterPore™ filter elements for special applications such as oil and gas exploration or power plants. Also, we manufacture melt filters for polymer and plastic extrusion, air filters with fine mesh and large air passage, and filter inserts for plants in all industries.

Products for screening technology as well as woven and welded meshes

Also, our manufacturing program includes screen cloth as square mesh according to ISO 9044 and ISO 4783 in widths up to 3,000 mm, screens made of woven mesh or with tensioning seams as well as many other products for sifting technology. Furthermore, with 50 years of experience, we manufacture welded wire mesh or spot welded mesh for the high-tech industry, construction, and agriculture – as well as woven wire mesh in a wide range of variants. The latter is used for screening, protecting, carrying and many other fields.
