The PLATEminus 4 combines the advanced technology and superior design to bring you a full featured plate carrier that can be worn slick and light or fully kitted out. For the latest version of this product, check out the PLATE-6.

The PLATE-4 is a light weight plate carrier that is perfectly suited as a low profile carrier or a fully loaded MOLLE compatible plate carrier. The carrier is built with ULTRAcomp® - an extremely durable, battle proven high performance laminate that has been laser cut for a precision down to the thousandth of an inch. The laser cut MOLLEminus™ slots are fully MOLLE compatible that saves weight and bulk over traditional sewn MOLLE webbing. The latest generation of MOLLEminus provides a greater range of adjustment of pouches over the first generation ‘slots and holes’ and also minimizes snags on clothing or other gear.

When worn, the PLATEminus is surprisingly light - only 640 grams or less than a pound and a half empty. With plates, the whole setup is very thin, secure, and snag free for very easy wear and use whether it is under an outer garment, in a vehicle, or training at the range.

Size Selection Based on SAPI / ESAPI Plates Sizes
The PLATEminus 4 carriers SAPI or ESAPI armor plates with or without soft armor backers in an enclosed tweave plate pocket. Other nonstandard sized steel or composite armor may fit depending on the size. Remember to size the carrier in the options to the plate size, NOT the user physical size.

Side Plate Pockets (6”x6”)
The side plate pockets that fit 6” x 6” hard armor side plates secured with a Ten-Speed® cummerbund for a more secure fit and to hold extra mags or equipment. BLIP™ feature on the Side Plate Pockets
Our Ball Loaded Index Point, or BLIP™ for short, is a feature found on all our lidded pouches and select plate carriers like the PLATEminus V4 Plate Carrier. BLIP was born in the freezing rain on a Blackwater range. It was there we realized that when you can’t feel your fingers, it’s very difficult to get a grasp on a flat piece of webbing and distinguish a pull tab. The ball doesn’t rely on friction; the bones in your fingers positively engage it. BLIP’s form is both easy to pull and impossible to miss.

Ten-Speed® Cummerbund Straps
These inner straps made of Ten-Speed Military Grade Elastic with a Hook and Loop system in place on the back panel to side pockets. The cummerbund can be completely removed for best adjustment to body type and size (see the bottom of the page for more details). The military grade elastic also helps with better flexibility and movement, as the material is flexible as well. It also has two multi-use pouches (as seen in the Side Plate Feature Image holding an M4 Mag), which depends on how much of the Cummerbund is exposed.

Display your Patches
The carrier is fully adjustable for the user size with adjustable hook and hoop secured shoulder straps and adjustable side straps. A large pattern matched loop field on the front can be left empty or used to display name, department, or flag patches.

Installation
Pulling the BLIP™ feature on the Side Plate Pockets to open or close side Pockets for best fit, along with adjustable shoulder straps.
