BladeRepm - Model Topcoat 12 -Two-Component Polyurethane for Blade Repairs
The two-component polyurethane topcoat from Mankiewicz is engineered for the effective coating of blades, especially where resistance to chemicals, UV rays, abrasion, and mechanical stress is essential. This topcoat not only meets but often surpasses original equipment manufacturer (OEM) standards, making it highly suitable for blade repair tasks. It offers excellent application characteristics, making it easy and efficient to apply with a roller, and provides sustainable protection, particularly for the blade's shell or less stressed areas. Additionally, this topcoat is conveniently packaged to eliminate the need for weighing during application with options including a 1 kg container. The product's components include a base and a hardener, available in various packaging sizes, along with a thinner to aid in the application process.
Designed specifically for coating blades where a superior product with chemical, UV, abrasion and mechanical resistance is required. This two-component polyurethane topcoat meets or exceeds OEM standards and provides applicators with the ideal product for blade repairs.

- color shades (Additional colors available upon request):
• RAL 7035 light grey • RAL 3020 traffic red • RAL 9010 pure white • RAL 2009 traffic orange • RAL 9018 papyrus white - mixing ratio 4:1 + 10% by weight
- 2-component tin: Puncture lid and mix thoroughly
add 10% thinner (2 bottle caps or scale for dosage) and mix thoroughly - pot life approx. 120min at 23°C (73°F)
- flash-off in between layers approx. 45 minutes
- drying time approx. 3.5 hours at 23°C (73°F)
- clean substrate from dust, grease, oil and other contaminates
- sand the substrate with P120
- clean with dust binding cloth
- apply by roller in two layers
- each layer approx. 100-125µm
