Advanced Energy’s Mikron M315X-HT series of blackbody calibration sources comprise of a controller module and a separate enclosure for the emitter source with available aperture sizes from 4 x 4 in up to 12 x 12 in and temperature ranges from 30 to 600°C. High effective emissivity 1.0 at 8 to 14 µm. Range of aperture sizes (4 x 4 in to 12 x 12 in). High accuracy and high resolution (0.1°C). Excellent stability ±0.2°C in still air environment.

The Mikron® M315X-HT blackbody calibration sources meet the exacting parameters of infrared focal plane array detectors, thermal imagers, and FLIR systems testing in projection scenes and field applications where higher temperatures are required.

The M315X-HT blackbody sources are resistively heated by precision heating elements to provide uniform temperature distributions. The two-piece system is comprised of the controller module and a separate enclosure for the emitter source.

Emitter source temperature control is carried out by a precision digital PID controller, mounted in a 7 in (180 mm) high 19 in rack mount enclosure.
