The Pro-Dig T5K7C Two Speed Drivehead, part of the T-Series, is engineered to enhance drilling productivity with its unique on-the-fly shifting capability. The drive head features a robust heavy-duty planetary gearbox and a high-quality two-speed hydraulic motor manufactured in the US. Operators can toggle between manual switching or opt for an auto kickdown mode, where the system intelligently shifts from high-speed, low-torque to high-torque, low-speed in response to changing ground conditions. This adaptability is bolstered by adjustable kickdown pressure settings. The unit's construction includes a single-piece shaft/gear carrier with taper roller bearings for elevated radial load capacity. Rated with a flow range of 13-35 GPM and a maximum pressure of 2500 PSI, it promises long service life, dependable performance, and is entirely field serviceable. - Manual Switching – Controlled remotely by cab mounted switch
- Auto Kickdown – The unit always starts in a High Speed-Low Torque Mode as the system builds pressure generated by ground conditions the unit will automatically switch into a High Torque – Low Speed Mode. The Kickdown pressure setting can be adjusted to suit the operators preference.
