Calypso Instruments - Ultrasonic Portable Mini Wind Meter for Accurate Wind Measurements
The Ultrasonic Portable Mini Wind Meter from Calypso Instruments is an advanced tool designed for precise wind speed and direction measurements. With a compact diameter of just 43 mm, this handheld anemometer is equipped with four ultrasonic transducers, ensuring accurate data without the limitations of moving parts. It supports a wide wind speed range from 1 to 45 m/s, with an accuracy of ±0.3 m/s at 10 m/s, and wind direction from 0 to 359º, with an accuracy of ±1º. This device is powered by a rechargeable battery that offers up to 150 hours of active use and supports wireless QI charging. Connectivity is achieved through Bluetooth 5.1, with a range of up to 30 meters, allowing seamless data integration with devices via the Anemotracker app. Outputs include NMEA 2000 signals when paired with a compatible gateway. Its rugged build is IPX8 rated for protection against water, making it suitable for marine and other outdoor applications.A miniature, Bluetooth, Battery powered, ultrasonic anemometer and wind vane.
Built with ULTRASONIC sensors, with no moving parts to make it robust and dependable, the Ultrasonic Portable Mini is a wind meter that measures both speed and direction, allowing data logging via a free app.
With just 43 mm diameter the Ultrasonic Portable MINI is a fully handheld, complete wind instrument.
It's size makes it an ideal stand-alone wind meter of great value on a wide range of industries and applications.
Simple mount
The Ultrasonic portable MINI has a female thread (1/4") perfect to be mounted on any tripod.
For those who want to see/read data while using Anemotracker App, the Phone Mount is the solution. A tiny accessory to put in the headphones hole there is in any Android phone.
Wireless and Battery Powered
Wireless Charging QI- thanks to its Bluetooth connection, the Ultrasonic Portable Mini can be recharged on a wireless charged pad connected via USB to the power.
No data wires, but connectable to your network: its bluetooth connection avoids the hassle of wiring it to a display. Still, if you want to connect the Ultrasonic Portable to a display or network, you can use one of our gateways: the NMEA Connect Plus gets the Portable Bluetooth signal and converts it to a wired or NMEA0183 or NMEA2000 signal. It also relays the Bluetooth signal and casts NMEA0183 data via WiFi.
