Ultrasonic Thermofixing Machines and Systems
Finishing narrow fabrics has been fundamentally revolutionized and rationalized by the use of ultrasonic thermofixing machines and their latest technology. The use of highly developed ultrasonic technology for the thermal treatment of narrow fabrics does not only significantly reduce energy consumption but also the size of the machine. The main objective during the development of SONOTRONIC`s ultrasonic thermofixing process (UST) was maximum flexibility:As there is only a small amount of material in the machine during thermofixing, it is possible to process small quantities of material with the UST machine. The product and application-specific parameters can be called up at any time on the operator’s screen, so that the adapted stretching frames at the intake and exit can bring about optimum shrinkage or stretching. Several inline ultrasonic units generate the necessary heat for thermofixing and calandering inside the material without need for long pre-heating.
