Harvesting and reusing rainwater helps you to save money, earn LEED Points, and helps the environment overall.  Rainwater can be harvested from two main areas in two different ways:

Rooftop Harvesting: A washer must remove dirt, leaves, and debris to ensure clean water. As the water travels through the gutters, it will deposit the water into the tank.

Land Surface Harvesting: This less complex method allows harvesting from a larger surface area. Effective run off is key in collection.

For potable water a filtering system must be applied.

Harvested rainwater can be reused for non-potable purposes such as irrigation/watering landscapes, laundry washing, toilet flushing, fire water supply, etc. at places like:

The Pure Rainwater Harvesting System can be used in above or below ground rainwater storage applications. The system will filter debris from collected water prior to use.
