The Unidirectional Knife Gate Valve by CMO Valves is engineered to handle industrial applications, including water treatment, paper pulp processing, and food production. This valve features a single-piece cast structure with guides that support the knife gate and sealing wedges. Its tapering interior design facilitates the easy release of solids, while minimizing potential build-up in the seat area. Offering high flow rates with minimal pressure loss, the valve accommodates various sealing and packing materials. Available in sizes ranging from DN50 to DN1200, it supports a maximum of 5% suspended solids. Manual and actuated drive options are supported based on specific application requirements. The valve achieves up to 30% of its designed pressure from the opposite direction when additional support brackets are used. Utilization
This knife gate valve is suitable for liquids that contain a maximum of 5% suspended solids. If it is used for dry solids in gravity feed applications it should be installed with the arrow on the body pointing in the opposite direction to the flow.

The mentioned working pressures are just valid for the pressures applied on the direction of the arrow market on the body. As the valve is designed with gate support guides, the valves are able to support a 30% of these pressures from the opposite direction without any damage on them. Achieving watertight integrity under these conditions requires additional brackets; contact CMO Valves in such cases.
