Universal Elevator
It is the most common elevator type for transporting many bulk cargoes from Grain to limestone in Food and Industrial areas. The lifting capacities and heights of these elevators are very varied; 3 meters in height from 2 tones per hour, 60-90 meters in height up to 2 000 tons of capacity per hour. It is very important to match the used elevator with the transported material.
This matching is provided using a centrifugal or positive discharge unit. In machines with a centrifugal system, the transported material is discharged by natural forces as a tangential tangent from the shell, followed by the shell. In positive unloading machines, the buckets are reversed at the discharge point. The buckets are carried by chain or strap. Centrifuged unloaded systems usually use a belt and the second system uses a chain.
