HDI/Nova Tech - Model Fusion Splicer -Universal Fibre Workstation
This unique British-designed and British-produced Universal Fibre Workstation will greatly assist the user in both the application and the actual fusing of cables on site. The 2 built-in rollers are designed to feed the cable into the fibre blowing machine. The tray surface is a non-slip rubberised mat. The Fusion Splicer can be secured to the tray before use, by way of the built-in anchorage points. The tray has raised sides to avoid items falling off the tray when in use. The tripod legs has 3 height adjustable sections. This ensures that the workstation will always be on a level working surface. Also provided is a pan tilt attachment. This connects to the tripod before fixing to the workstation. The pan tilt will allow the workstation to be adjusted to various angles of working when necessary. The set is supplied with a useful carry case to protect and keep the set safe when not in use.
Perfect when using Fusion Splicer and fibre blowing machines. This cleverly designed workstation will enhance and assist the use of both Fusion Splicer and fibre blowing machines when on-site.
The spacious work surface has a rubberised non-slip surface. The raised edged surround on the tray prevents items from rolling off. There are 4 powerful built-in magnets to secure any unit being used. The tray has been designed to accept both the round and square design Isopropyl alcohol dispensers or fibre sharps bin.
A key function of the tray is the 2 built-in cable feed rollers. The rollers are designed to feed the cable into the fibre blowing machine.
The universal workstation is supplied with a heavy-duty tripod, capable of holding up to 15kg of equipment.
The heavy-duty tripod legs have 3 height adjustable sections, providing greater flexibility when working on uneven ground.
The pan tilt attachment allows the user to angle the tray for the greatest access and visibility whilst the Splicer is in use.
The fusion splicer workstation is supplied with a useful carry bag. The tripod is supplied in its own individual bag for protection.
