The ODOROX® MDU/Rx medical model is an ultraviolet (UV) air purifying device intended for the reduction of bacteria and selected virus in air in medical facilities. Performance data published in the FDA 510(k) summary showed 4 to 5 log reductions in airborne bacteria and selected virus within 1 to 2 hours; a reduction that is equivalent to killing 99.9% of the microorganisms.
