The flexibility of V-Packing allows sealing in a wide range of pressures for nearly any condition. V-Packing consists of a male and female adaptor with any number of intermediate rings depending on the system’s operating pressure. V-Packing is designed with mating surfaces that provide a “space” between rings. The fabric reinforced space serves as a lubrication reservoir that helps retard nesting and allows all the rings to calm themselves between cycles.
