Our vertical FFS machinery utilise a flat film reel in order to create a pillow or gusseted bag. The Film is shaped around the feed tube by a Shoulder which is then pulled downwards by movable rubberized belt pulling units, fixed on either side of the tube. The pulling action is done by Servo Motors. The duration of the rotation can be given with the help of a variable cam or PLC System, which will increase or decrease the length of the tube from. However to vary the width of the pack, the whole shoulder tube assembly has to be changed. This can be done in a very reasonable time. As soon as the tube length reaches its preset length the vacuum system extracts air out of the bag. The bag is then sealed horizontally, leaving a watertight bag ready for palletising.
