Tenney vacuum space chambers are constructed with a stainless steel vacuum vessel and temperature conditioned internal platen and shroud to simulate outer space conditions. The space chamber, machinery and instrumentation are manufactured as one unit and can reference OSHA, NEC and ASME Code for Unfired Pressure Vessels.
Tenney offers mechanical or liquid nitrogen fluid cooling systems as well as gaseous nitrogen recirculating with an LN2 flooded system to meet the extreme temperature ranges required in modern space vehicle and components testing. Vacuum system design capabilities range from oil sealed or dry style roughing pumps and cryopump or turbomolecular ultra high vacuum pumping systems depending on the customer specific requirements.
