The consequence of facts!
Fact: At the installation site, the shafts or spindle extensions must be the exact cover depth required!
Consequence: The KETTLER Telescope-Systems remain easily and permanently adjustable, even after installation. You avoid expensive adjustment work at the installation site and damage to the valve, shaft and/or spindle extension and pipeline when the initial cover depth needed differs from the final requirement.
Fact: The function of the spindle extension is impaired by the penetration of foreign bodies within the shaft and extension! Consequence: The KETTLER Telescope-Systems are completely sealed units. You avoid the penetration of dirt, sand and gravel (whether from above or below) within the protective tube, hence guaranteeing the continuous function of the mains and spindle extension.
Fact: The spindle extensions are often eventually damaged at the installation sites by heavy traffic!
Consequence: The KETTLER Telescope-Systems automatically retract in height when sufficient pressure is applied to the square operating head of the telescope. So avoiding unnecessary strain on the mains and pipeline with subsidence of the road surface.
Fact: Spindle extensions can remain underground for 50 years! Consequence: The KETTLER Telescope-System remains height adjustable, even after years of service. The changing conditions of requirement of the spindle extensions (i.e. re-surfacing work or areas of traffic-calming -use of sleeping policemen) are easily catered for without replacement
Fact: Shafts and spindle extensions receive rough handling! Consequence: KETTLER Telescope-Systems are robust and are made from ideally suited, high quality and environmentally friendly materials, all of which undergo regular and stringent quality control
Fact: Multiple valves in a road junction must be installed far enough apart to allow installation of larger shaft surface boxes. Consequence: KETTLER Telescope-Systems only require surface boxes with a much smaller surface area, enabb'ng much closer installation without compromising the road surface.
