VariTarget - Model VT -Adapter
The VariTarget adapters are designed to connect VariTarget nozzles to conventional fertilizer nozzles including Teejet Stream Jet SJ-7, Hypro ESI Six Stream Tips, Lechler 5 outlet-style nozzles, Streambar or Drible Bar, or Hose Drops.
When connected to a conventional fertilizer nozzle, a VariTarget nozzle with flexible orifices is used as a flow regulator which replaces the fixed metering orifice of the conventional fertilizer nozzle. The combination of VariTarget nozzles with conventional fertilizer nozzles allows accurate stream applications of varying rates.
When used with a VariTarget nozzle, the size of the conventional fertilizer nozzle should be in the middle of the range of application rates.
For example, size 4 (.4 gpm) is for flow rate range .15 - .8 gpm or size 5 for the range 2 -1.0 gpm. The metering orifices should be removed before connecting the conventional nozzles to VariTarget nozzles.
The outlet of the VT adapter fits standard Quick Teejet caps.
