C.I.Agent - Vault Sump Filter
According to Jim Roewer, the Executive Director of Utility Solid Waste Activities Group, most utilities have manholes and vaults and all of them have challenges. There are an estimated 5 million electrical utility vaults and manholes in the U.S. – approximately 4 manholes to every 1 vault. The inspection schedules for vaults and manholes varies by need and regional location, but on average, vaults are inspected annually and manholes are inspected every 4 years. The greatest O&M issues faced by most utilities in regard to vaults and manholes is water, debris and oil.
To solve these particular problems, C.I.Agent Solutions now offers Vault and Manhole Sump Filters and Oil and Sludge Dewatering Equipment to meet your vault oil and sludge filtration needs. They complement any pump system by keeping debris, silt, and oil from reaching the pump, thus preventing malfunction and stoppage. The Vault Sump Filters are available in round configuration and in segmented panels for flexibility to fit in any area. The complete Vault Sump System includes the Filter Housing, the Debris and Silt Filter, and the Oil and Sheen Filter. Components can be ordered together as a system or separately.
The C.I.Agent® Round Vault Sump Filter measures 24 inches diameter by 12 inches tall and is placed around the sump hole to protect the pump from sediment and debris. The complete Round Vault Sump System includes the Filter Housing, the Debris and Silt Filter and the Oil and Sheen Filter. Components can be ordered separately. Custom sizes are welcome.
The C.I.Agent Round Vault Sump Filter Housing fits neatly around the sump hole and pump, is strong and can be used as a stand-alone for debris filtration.

- Plastic Perforated Poly-propylene, 0.125 gauge, 1/8″ holes (3175 micron) on 3/16″ centers, staggered pattern, 40% open area
- Polypropylene shell has high impact resistance strength, does not absorb moisture and is chemical and corrosion resistant
- Rivets or wing nuts and washers for closure
- Four aluminum L brackets eight 3/16 inch diameter by 1 3/4 inch long corrosion resistant Tapcon Concrete Anchor Screws for stabilizing to floor
