Vector - HD Subsea Camera
The Vector HD range of subsea cameras were optimised to capture the highest quality subsea 3D photogrammetry data possible. Our cameras produce better imaging quality than a 10Mpixel digital stills camera but with exceptional frame rates and ultra-low latency; this enables high speed image acquisition without adding time burden to a standard GVI survey.
The camera is equipped with a nano-second resolution trigger and can be configured with user-set delays; this enables a new range of multi-camera imaging photogrammetry modes such as stereo and tri-nocular 3D real-time imaging or special effects such as frozen-moment, time-slice and dead-time video capture. The onboard control electronics also communicate with our lighting and laser products, simplifying the infrastructure required for integration aboard an ROV.
An onboard programmable controller also enables multiple firing outputs to our new range of subsea strobe lighting; critical to fast pipeline inspection surveys and marine-behavior monitoring.
High frame rates, coupled with high quantum efficiency and available in large frame sizes up to 80Mpixel (10K-video format) chip sizes.
These cameras are Gigabit ethernet-ready and are plug n’play interface to any ethernet multiplexer. They are also directly compatible with the Savante Nucleus subsea PC which can be used to provide autonomous local recording onto a 4TB solid state drive for those without the critical data infrastructure.
