The  M705 is a fully computer controlled machine with laser technology measuring the height and length of each fish to adjust the knives and settings to fillet the fish in the most optimal way possible.  Easily accessible maintenance database and individual parameters are set up for each user.

We offer the TakeControl operating system on our machines in three different models

  • MINI
  • BASE
  • ADVANCED

TakeControl BASE Is included in all the PLC controlled filleting machines from Vélfag (M705 and M725). The BASE system measures each incoming fish with laser accuracy and positions the cutting knives accordingly, using servo motors. It allows for total control of knife movements (lift and timing) through the touchscreen and adjustments to bone guides, cutting speed, and stiffness off infeed guides. It offers alteration from one fish species to the other by pushing a button and differentiating between stiff (new) and soft fish. These features enable the machines to operate in a broader range of different species and increase yield. Our technicians can access the system through a VPN connection globally to upgrade or service the machine

TakeControl ADVANCED Is a step above the BASE. It is an optional extra that allows the user to have a complete overview of the filleting process. 2D and 3D sensors capture live data (Length, height, and weight) of the fish going in and out of the machine giving the operator live yield and quality control information on the fly. Imperfect fillets separated away for the trimming line Perfect fillets go untouched in cutting machines/bone cutting.
